Rishikas Boutique

You can find us at No 5-5-156/23 in Mallikarjuna Nagar. This is in the North Chintalakunta area. Rishikas Boutique is a small place that we’ve been running for a while now. We are right in the middle of a residential area, so it’s mostly neighbors who come by. Our shop is simple, with just enough room for the sewing machines and a few tables. We don't have any fancy decorations or a big storefront. It's just a regular building in Mallikarjuna Nagar. We spend most of our time sitting and working on different outfits. Sometimes we have a lot of work and stay late into the evening. The street outside is usually quiet compared to the main roads, which we like. We have stacks of different fabrics piled up in the corners. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we manage to find what we need. We don't really have a big staff or a manager. We just do the work ourselves. Most days involve a lot of pinning and stitching. We don't have a polished business plan or anything like that. We just take orders from people who live around North Chintalakunta and try to get them done. It’s a very local, small-scale operation. We just enjoy the process of making things and being part of this community. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait a bit to get back to work.
