Rico Unisex Saloon

Rico is on the first floor of the Sanali Mall Complex, right in the middle of Abids. If you know the mall, we are the ones right above the McDonald’s. You can always tell when they are cooking because the smell of burgers comes right up the stairs. Abids is a very crowded area, so it’s always a bit of a struggle for people to find a place to park their bikes or cars. Our saloon is a unisex place, so we see all sorts of people. We have some regulars who have been coming to us since we first opened. The interior is pretty basic with big mirrors and those heavy black styling chairs. Some of the floor tiles are a bit chipped, but the place is kept tidy. We do a lot of shaves and beard trims for the men who work in the surrounding offices. The ladies usually come in for hair coloring or getting their eyebrows done. We don't have a fancy booking system; we just try to help whoever walks in as fast as we can. It gets loud with the mall noise and the blow dryers, so we usually have to talk a bit louder to be heard. We don't offer any fancy drinks, just a glass of water if you’re thirsty. It’s a busy, no-nonsense saloon in a very busy part of Hyderabad. We just enjoy being part of the hustle and bustle here.
