Village Dairy

You can find Village Dairy at No. 6-3-1247/112/6 in Rajnagar. We are situated right opposite the big gates of Raj Bhawan, which is a very well-known landmark around here. Our day starts much earlier than most people’s. We are up at four in the morning to handle the first milk deliveries. You can hear the metal cans clattering on the pavement before the sun even comes up. The shop is small and always feels a bit damp because of all the water we use to keep things clean and cool. There’s a constant hum from the refrigerators where we keep the milk and curd. In the mornings, there is a big rush of people coming to pick up their daily supply before they go to work or take their kids to school. It’s a fast-paced few hours, and then things quiet down in the afternoon. The floor is usually a bit slippery, so we have to be careful when we walk. We don't have a fancy waiting area or anything like that. People just stand at the counter and tell us what they need. It’s an honest, simple business. We deal with the heat by keeping the fans on full speed all day. Being near Raj Bhawan means there’s always a lot of security and movement nearby, which makes the area feel very safe. We’ve been serving this little corner of Rajnagar for a long time, just focusing on our daily routine.
