Priyanka Boutique

Our boutique is in Rameshwar Apartment, specifically Flat No 203. The building is No. 21-1-929 in Ghansi Bazar. It is a bit different running a business out of an apartment, but it works for us. Priyanka Boutique has been here for a while now. We spend our days mostly at the cutting table or the sewing machines. Since we are on the second floor, it is a bit quieter than being right on the main street of Ghansi Bazar. We have our regulars who know exactly which buzzer to press to get upstairs. The flat is filled with rolls of fabric and half-finished dresses. It isn't a fancy showroom with bright lights and mirrors everywhere. It feels more like a home because it actually is one. We keep our supplies in the back rooms and use the main area for showing the work. Sometimes the elevator in Rameshwar Apartment is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the stitching and fixing. People usually find out about us through friends in the building or nearby. It is a small operation, and we like it that way. We don't have a lot of space for big displays. We just do the work as it comes in. The view from the flat looks out over the busy market area below, which is always noisy and full of life.
