Parvathidasari Weavers Village Private Limited

Our place is at Flat No. B 102 in the Ayyanna Premia building. It is located in Kakatiyahills, Hyderabad. The name Parvathidasari Weavers Village Private Limited sounds a bit traditional, and that’s because we really care about the weaving part of the business. Even though we are in a modern apartment building, we try to keep that village craft feeling alive in our work. It’s a bit of a strange mix, having looms and yarns in a residential area, but it works for us. The security guards at the gate know us well because of all the packages arriving at all hours. Inside the flat, we’ve converted most of the space into work zones. There isn't much room for a sofa or a TV. We use the dining table for checking fabrics and the bedrooms for storage. It gets a bit messy with colorful threads everywhere. We started this in the 500081 area because it’s a central enough location for our staff to reach. Most days are spent talking to weavers in other areas and then sorting what they send us. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just want to make sure the work is decent and the people we work with get paid on time. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We usually finish up around six and head home just like everyone else. The building is quiet, which helps us focus on the intricate patterns we are handling.
