O.P Aggarwal

We are over in New Hafeezpet, specifically at Shop No. 3-39/55 in Prem Nagar. Being right near the Railway Station Bridge means it’s always loud with the trains passing by, but we don’t even notice it anymore. The shop isn’t very big, but it holds everything we need to do our business. O.P Aggarwal has been our name for as long as I can remember. It’s a lot of manual work here. Moving boxes, checking invoices, and talking to the local folks. We get a lot of people stopping in on their way to or from the station. It’s a handy spot for that. The floor is a bit uneven in the corner and the paint is peeling a little, but it’s ours. We keep things pretty simple. No big slogans or flashy windows. Just the items we sell and a place to sit. Sometimes my nephew comes by to help out on the weekends. He’s better with the phone than I am. We’ve seen this area change a lot over the years. More buildings going up and more traffic every day. But we stay right here. It’s a decent living. We know the chai wallah nearby and the other shopkeepers. It’s a community. We aren't trying to grow into some huge company. We just want to do right by the people who come in. It’s practical work. You get tired by the end of the day, but it’s a good kind of tired.
