Nice Mens Salon

We are down in Chintal Basti, right there near the Shivalayam temple in Khairatabad. It is a small place, nothing too fancy, just some chairs and mirrors where we do haircuts and shaves every day. My father used to say a salon is where the neighborhood talks, and that is how it feels here. People stop by after visiting the temple or when they are just walking through the lanes of Hyderabad. We have been here for a while now. The fan hums in the corner and sometimes the water in the sink takes a second to get warm. It gets busy on Sundays, mostly with men from the local area who want a quick trim before the week starts. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle a pair of scissors. If you are looking for those big glass buildings with fancy lights, this isn't it. We just focus on the job and talk about the cricket scores or the local news while the hair falls on the floor.
