New Ponds Hair & Beauty Salon

Our salon is located at shop 11-3-562 in New Mallepally. We are directly opposite Anwar Ul Loom Degree College. Because of the location, we get a lot of young guys coming in between their classes. They often have photos on their phones of a specific haircut they want. We do our best to get it right for them. It’s a small place, and it can get pretty crowded in the late afternoon. We have three chairs and a small area in the back for washing hair. The name New Ponds has been on the sign for a long time, so we just kept it. We aren't associated with the big brand or anything; it’s just the name of the shop. We keep the place clean, but it’s an old building, so it has some character. The fan stays on all day to keep the air moving. We don't have a fancy waiting room. Most of the customers just lean against the wall or chat with each other while they wait. It’s a very social spot. We know many of the students by name since they come in every few weeks. We don't use any high-end products that would make the prices too high. It’s a budget-friendly place for regular people and students. We just focus on doing a good job with the scissors and making sure people look decent when they leave.
