N R Jasani (Modular Furniture)

N R Jasani has been set up at 408, Meridian Plaza for a good number of years. It’s right there in Ameerpet, specifically the Green Lands area, which is always crowded. We focus on modular furniture, which basically means we spend a lot of time looking at floor plans and figuring out where desks and cabinets should go. The office isn't anything too special, just a place where we keep the catalogs and samples. Sometimes the phones ring more than we can answer, but we try to get back to everyone eventually. Working in Meridian Plaza means we get a lot of people just dropping in because they saw the name while visiting other offices nearby. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We handle a lot of pieces that need putting together, so there are always tools lying around or half-finished sketches on the tables. It's a practical business. We aren't trying to be the biggest in the city, just busy enough to keep the lights on and the staff paid. Most of our days are spent talking to suppliers or checking if a delivery arrived on time. It’s honest work, and it keeps us on our feet. We like being in Ameerpet because everything is close by, even if the parking around Green Lands is a nightmare sometimes. It is just the reality of doing business in a busy city.
