Murthy & Manyam Architects

We are located over at Banjara Avenue in Khairatabad. The address is 859 6-3-597/A/12/A/6B, which sounds complicated but it's in the Venkatramana Colony area. It’s a quiet enough spot for an architecture firm. We’ve been doing this for a long time, just Murthy and Manyam and a couple of others. Our office isn't anything special to look at. It’s mostly just filled with old files, drawing boards, and a few computers. We handle the design and planning for various types of buildings. Most of our day is spent looking at site conditions or talking to people about what they want to build. We don't use any fancy marketing talk. We just tell it like it is. If a plan won't work, we say so. We focus on the structural side and making sure everything follows the local rules in Hyderabad. It’s a lot of paperwork and checking details. Sometimes we go out to Khairatabad for meetings, but mostly we are right here at our desks. We’ve seen the city grow and change, and we’ve just kept doing our designs the same way. It’s a steady job, and we like the technical part of it. We don't have a big mission statement. We just draw plans and help people get their projects started. It’s honest work and we try to be as practical as we can about every single drawing we produce for our clients.
