Mohan Travels

Our place is at 5-8-263 on Nampally Main Road, right beside the Quality Inn Residency. Being on the main road means we get a lot of noise and a lot of people walking by all the time. It is a very active part of Hyderabad, especially with the railway station being so close. We spend our hours here looking at bus and flight timings. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s important to get it right so people don't end up stranded. We have a few computers and a phone that never seems to stop ringing. Sometimes we have to deal with grumpy customers who are tired from traveling, and we just try to be patient and help them out. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just show up, open the shop, and start working on whatever bookings are pending. The office is small and can get a bit cramped when three or four people come in at once. We’ve got some old calendars on the wall and piles of ledgers from previous years. It’s a very traditional way of working, even if we use modern websites for the actual booking part. We like being in Nampally because there is always something happening. You see all kinds of people here, and it makes the day go by faster. We just do our bit to help them get where they need to go.
