If you’re looking for us in Vijay Nagar Colony, you have to walk up to the first floor. We are right there near the Andhra Bank. The shop isn’t fancy, but it gets the job done when you need a haircut or something for your skin. It can get a bit loud on the street downstairs, especially with all the bikes and people heading to the bank, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the scissors and the fan going. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most people around here know us because we’ve seen them grow up or they’ve been coming since they moved to Hyderabad. The chairs are a bit old, but they are comfortable enough for a long sit while someone works on your hair. There’s usually some tea being shared if it’s a slow afternoon. We try to keep things clean, but it’s a busy place and hair gets everywhere fast. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, that’s just how it is in this part of the city. We have a few mirrors lined up and some old posters on the walls that haven’t been changed in years. People just come in, sit down, tell us what they want, and we get to it. No big fuss or anything. It’s a simple setup in a busy colony where everyone is usually in a hurry to get somewhere else.
