Mittal Musli Farm & Research Centre

If you’re looking for us, we are right above Jagdamba Jewellers in the Gupta Estate. It’s on the first floor, room 104, right there at the Basheerbagh X Roads. It’s a very busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise from the horns and the people downstairs. We do research on Musli and run our farm operations from this little office. It’s a bit tight with all the files and samples we keep around. Most of us spend half the time out at the actual farms and the other half here doing the boring paperwork and research notes. Being above a jewelry shop is a good landmark because everyone knows where that is. The stairs are a bit steep but you get used to them. We’ve been focused on Musli for a long time now. It’s a specific kind of plant and it takes a lot of patience to get the research right. We aren’t scientists in white coats or anything, just people who have learned a lot by actually growing things. Sometimes we get visitors asking about how to start their own farms. We just tell them what we know. The office is older, and the paint is peeling a bit in the corner, but it works for what we need. Basheerbagh is a central spot so it’s easy for our suppliers to find us. We usually just keep the windows closed to drown out the traffic noise. It's not a fancy place, but it's where the work happens.
