Maharani Ladies Beauty Parlour

Maharani Ladies Beauty Parlour is situated right by Pillar No:140 in the Hyderguda area of Attapur, Hyderabad. If you follow the Bank Of Baroda line, you will run into us soon enough. We are also very close to the Pochamma Temple. We decided to make this a ladies-only space because it felt right for the women in the neighborhood to have their own spot. The parlour is not very fancy. We have a few curtains to keep things private and the walls are a simple shade of pink. Saturdays are our busiest time. We usually have to write down all the names in a small diary to keep track of who is next. Sometimes the wait is a bit long, so people sit on the bench and talk. There is always a lot of chatter about things going on in Attapur. When there is a festival at the temple, the whole street gets packed and we can hear the music and the bells very clearly. We just keep working through it. The mirrors are large so everyone can see what we are doing. We always have the thread and the wax ready to go. It is a basic setup but it works well for the ladies around here. We know most of our customers by name. It feels more like visiting a friend's house than going to a shop. We stay open late most days to accommodate everyone.
