You can find us over at Plot No. 10 in Srinagar Colony. It’s a bit quieter here than the main markets, which is nice for the kind of stuff we handle. We have a lot of old things tucked away in different corners. Walking into the shop is a bit of a squeeze because there’s always something new—well, something old—blocking the way. We spend a lot of time cleaning off old dirt or trying to figure out where a certain piece came from. It’s not a shiny shop; it’s more like a crowded storeroom where you have to watch your elbows. Some days, nobody comes in at all, and we just spend the time rearranging the shelves or fixing a loose leg on an old chair. Other days, it’s a bit of a rush with people asking questions we don't always have the exact answers to. We try to keep track of everything in a thick notebook, but things sometimes get misplaced in the back. The lighting isn't the best, but it helps hide some of the scratches on the older pieces. It’s a small operation, mostly just us and the cats that wander in from the colony. We don't have a big sign, just a simple one that let's people know they've found the right plot. It’s just a daily routine of handling objects that have been around longer than we have.
