Lubna

Lubna is the name on the door here near the Hyderabad GPO in the 500001 zip code area. This is a very active part of town, and being so close to the main post office means there is a constant flow of people walking past every single day. The space I work in is cozy and decorated with things I have collected over time, nothing too fancy, just bits and pieces that make the room feel a bit more like home. I have a big table where I do most of my work, and it is usually covered in various projects I am working on at the moment. The light in here is quite good in the mornings, which helps a lot. I usually start my day with a cup of tea and a look at what needs to be finished before the sun goes down. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud that it is hard to hear yourself think, but you get used to the rhythm of the city after a while. I have lived in Hyderabad all my life, so I wouldn't know what to do with too much silence anyway. My neighbors in the building are mostly other small business people, and we all say hello when we meet in the corridor. It is a nice little community we have here, tucked away from the main road but still right in the middle of everything.
