Lolam Farmers Producer Company Limited is located in Lolam village, right near the Hanman Temple at house number 2-47. Being so close to the temple means everyone knows where we are. We are in the Dharpally area of Nizamabad. This is a local group of farmers who got together to try and manage our produce better. Most of us grew up here and have been farming these lands since we were kids. The office is a simple place, nothing special to look at. We spend a lot of time sitting around the table talking about the soil and what the market is doing in Nizamabad. It’s not a high-tech operation; it’s mostly just us using our common sense and looking out for each other. We don't have any big promises to make. We just work hard and hope the harvest is good each year. Sometimes the weather doesn't go our way and things get difficult, but that is part of the life we chose. Having this company helps us buy things in bulk and get better deals than we could on our own. It’s a practical way to run things in a small village like Lolam. We are proud of our work but we don't feel the need to brag about it. We just keep our heads down and keep moving forward with our daily tasks.
