Kohinoor Ice Cream

We are tucked away at House/No-6-191/3/8 in the Chinthal area, which is a bit of a residential neighborhood. Being near the H.M.T Post Office is handy because everyone knows that spot when they are giving directions. Kohinoor Ice Cream isn't a massive factory or anything like that; it is more like a local hangout where we keep the coolers full. We started this because we had some extra space in the building and figured people would like something cold. The street outside can get a bit crowded with scooters and delivery bikes, but inside it stays fairly quiet. We spend a lot of time just organizing the tubs and making sure the electricity is steady. Sometimes the postman stops by for a chat when he’s finished with his rounds. We don't have a big marketing plan or fancy logos on the wall. It’s just white walls and the sound of the compressors running. Most of our neighbors stop in after dinner or on their way home from work. We like the pace of life here in Chinthal. It’s not too fast, and people actually take the time to say hello. We keep the floors swept and the windows clear so people can see we are open for business. It’s a simple life running a shop like this, but it feels right being part of the community near the post office.
