Our shop is at No. 2-2-1145/2/ BKGR in the Bakri Nalakaunda area. We go by Harikka Designer Sarees Dress Material. It’s a bit of a mouthful, but we just focus on the sarees and the materials we have on hand. The shop isn't in a big flashy mall; it’s just a local spot where people from the neighborhood come by. We have piles of dress materials and sarees everywhere you look. Sometimes it feels like we’re drowning in cloth, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of our time helping people pick out what they need for a wedding or just for daily wear. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If a fabric is good, we say so, and if it's just okay, we say that too. Bakri Nalakaunda is a lively place with a lot of character. We see the same faces every day passing by the front door. We’ve got a small team here, and we mostly just try to keep the place organized, though that’s easier said than done. The lighting inside isn’t the best, but it’s enough to see the patterns. We don't have a big mission or anything like that. We just want to sell our sarees and make enough to keep the lights on and come back tomorrow. It’s a simple business and we like it that way.
