Jyothibai Agro Farms Private Limited

We are over at H No 12-5-32/8 in the Vijayapuri South Lallaguda area of Secunderabad. It is a bit of a noisy place sometimes with the trains and all the traffic coming through Hyderabad, but this is where Jyothibai Agro Farms Private Limited does all its planning. Most days start early before the sun gets too high because the Telangana heat can really get to you if you aren't careful. We sit around the office and talk about what needs doing on the land. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to say hello or ask how the crops are coming along. It is not some fancy corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a regular house where we keep our files and take our phone calls. We spend a lot of time looking at the dirt and checking the water. People in Lallaguda know us as just another group trying to make a living from the earth. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should and we all worry a bit, but that is just how farming goes in this part of the world. We don't have big speeches or fancy logos that mean much to anyone. Just work and more work. If you walk down our lane, you will see kids playing and people going to the market. It is a very normal life here and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and try to do right by the soil.
