Our place is located in Zone No.- 5-1-274 over at Hill Estate. It’s right by the Old Grass Mandi in Ranigunj, which is a place that never really stays quiet for long. If you’ve ever walked around here, you know it’s got that old-school feel with all the trucks and the loaders moving things around constantly. We have been working from this shop for a good stretch of time. It isn't a large corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Instead, it’s mostly just shelves and piles of stuff we need to sort through every day. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time between all the tasks. Sometimes the dust from the Mandi blows in and covers everything, so we spend half the morning just wiping things down. My desk is tucked in the corner behind some boxes. Dealing with people in Ranigunj is interesting because everyone is always in a hurry. We mostly just handle whatever comes through the door. There’s no fancy system here, just us keeping track of things in ledgers and making sure the inventory isn't missing. It gets pretty loud outside when the market is in full swing, but you get used to it after a few years. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the shutters go down in the evening after another long day at the estate.
