Jmj Ice Cream

We set up Jmj Ice Cream right here in Venkateshwara Nagar a good while back. It’s a busy little spot in Malkajgiri, especially being so close to the Gandhi Statue where everyone walks by. We spend most of our mornings getting the machines ready and checking the stock. People usually stop in after work or when they’re out with their kids on the weekend. It gets pretty crowded in the evenings, but that’s just how it goes in this neighborhood. We don’t have a massive shop, just a practical space at 44-9-37 where we keep everything running. Sometimes the freezer makes a bit of noise, but it keeps the ice cream cold so we don’t mind it much. We mostly just focus on having enough flavors for the regulars who come by every day. It’s a simple setup. You can find us easily enough if you know where the statue is. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. Nothing fancy, just us working through the day. The heat in Malkajgiri can get pretty intense, so having the shop here feels right. We keep the lights on late most nights because that is when people want something cold. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the place is clean for whoever walks through the door next. Anyway, that’s about it for us.
