Jalsa Sarees

Our shop, Jalsa Sarees, is located near the High Court area in Ghansi Bazar. It’s a very busy part of town, especially with all the lawyers and people heading to court every day. We are right opposite Gabriel High School. You can hear the kids playing during their break times, which makes the afternoon feel a bit more lively. Ghansi Bazar has those narrow streets that get crowded with bikes and rickshaws, but we like being here. The building is old, like many others in this part of Hyderabad. We spend our mornings sorting through different sarees and making sure the displays look decent. It’s not a polished showroom; it’s more of a traditional place where you have to look through stacks of fabric to find what you want. We’ve had the same people working here for years. We know the neighbors, the tea stall owner, and the stationery shop guys. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud we have to shout a bit to be heard, but that’s just how it is near the High Court. People come in after dropping their kids at Gabriel High or when they are done with their legal work for the day. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. Just the name on the board and the sarees inside. It's a simple way to earn a living and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time now.
