We are out at Plot No. 116 in the Ida Kattedan industrial area. If you’ve ever been down this way in the RR District, you know it’s a lot of trucks and dust and the sound of machinery everywhere. Our place is no different. We spend most of our time on the factory floor dealing with the plastic production. It’s loud and it gets quite warm, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the roof. We don’t have a fancy front office or anyone sitting at a front desk to greet people. Usually, someone just wipes their hands on a rag and comes out to see who is calling. The equipment takes up most of the space, and we have to keep everything moving so we don't fall behind. There are stacks of raw materials and finished goods waiting to be loaded onto the next truck that pulls into the yard. We’ve been at this for a long time now, so the routine is pretty much set in stone. We show up early, get the machines warmed up, and start the day’s run. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean, but it’s honest work that we understand well. The area around us is always busy with other businesses doing similar things, so it feels like the right place for us to be. We just keep our heads down and focus on the output.
