Hollywood Mens Salon

Hollywood Mens Salon is located at 3-5-150 on Vittal wadi Road in the Narayanguda area. Most people find us by looking for the big water tank that is right beside us. It is a good landmark because the roads around here can be a bit confusing if you aren't from this part of Hyderabad. The shop isn't very large, but we have enough room for the chairs and a small bench for people to sit while they wait. We usually keep the door open to let some air in, though that means the dust from the road comes in too. You can hear the motorcycles zooming past all afternoon. We have been here for a while, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. The scissors and the combs stay on the counters in front of the mirrors. We don't have any big signs inside, just the tools of the trade. Usually, it's just the sound of the clippers or someone chatting about the cricket scores. In the evenings, the street lights come on and the area gets a different kind of energy. People stop by after work before heading home to their families. It is a simple life here, just cutting hair and making sure the shop is ready for the next day. The water tank nearby always has some birds hanging around it, which we see from our front step.
