Gurdev Singh Parmar

My name is Gurdev Singh Parmar and I run my operations out of Shapur Nagar in Jeedimetla. This is a very busy part of the city to be in. I have been working from this same spot at house number 51-62-45 for a good number of years now. It is not a big corporate setup with lots of staff. It is mostly just me and a couple of helpers who take care of whatever work comes our way each day. The area around Jeedimetla is full of factories and small workshops, so there is always a lot of movement and noise. My day usually starts very early before the traffic on the main road gets too heavy to move. I deal with a variety of different tasks, mostly involving mechanical stuff or structural things that people need fixed or built for their own shops. My office is really just a small corner with some old files and my phone. Most of the time I am out on the shop floor or visiting a site to look at a job. It gets very dusty and loud around here with all the heavy trucks passing through Shapur Nagar all day long. Sometimes customers drop by just to talk about a project, and we sit on the plastic chairs outside the door. I don’t use any fancy software. I just write everything down in my notebook and make sure the jobs get finished.
