Grameenam Chenetha Hastakalalu Producer Company Limited is based out of H.No. 12-11-190, Flat No. 101. We are in the UpperBasthi area of Parsigutta, over in Sithaphal Manoi. It’s a local operation, and we focus a lot on traditional handiwork. The name is a bit of a mouthful, but it represents what we do. We aren't a big factory with automated machines. A lot of what happens here involves real people working with their hands. Flat 101 is usually full of samples and materials. It’s not the biggest space, so we have to stay organized. Parsigutta is a lively area with a lot of character. We like being here because it feels like we are part of a real community. We aren't trying to be some polished corporate entity. We just want to support the craft and keep things moving. Most days you’ll find us checking on the latest pieces or talking to the producers about the work they’ve finished. It is hard work and it doesn't always go perfectly. Sometimes there are delays or the materials aren't quite what we expected. But we deal with it and move on. We don't have a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just show up every day and do the best we can with what we have. That’s how we’ve always done it here in our corner of Sithaphal Manoi. It takes heart to keep this going.
