Goldenmist Agrofarms & Plantations Private Limited is based over at P.NO.111 in Prashashan Nagar. That’s in the Jubilee Hills part of Hyderabad. It’s a bit of a contrast because we are in a busy part of the city, but our hearts are really out in the plantations. We spend a lot of time traveling between the office and the land we manage. The office itself is just a place to keep the files and meet up before we head out. It’s usually pretty quiet inside, except for when we are arguing about weather reports or logistics. We have been at this for a while. It’s not a corporate vibe at all. We are more likely to be seen in dusty jeans than anything else. Hyderabad is a busy place, and getting through the traffic from Jubilee Hills is always a headache. We don't have any grand statements to make. We just grow things and try to make sure the plantations are healthy. Sometimes the crops don't do what they are supposed to, and we have to figure out why. It is a lot of trial and error and plain old hard work. We don't have any flashy brochures. People usually hear about us through word of mouth. It's just a few of us trying to keep things growing in a way that makes sense for the long haul.
