Our shop is on the ground floor of Jade Arcade over in the Paradise area. It’s a decent-sized space where we keep all our stock. We’ve got sofas, beds, and dining sets crammed in there pretty tight. It’s not one of those showrooms where everything is perfectly staged with special lights and decorations. It’s more of a practical store where you can see the real thing. You walk in and see what we have available right then and there. We usually have the front doors wide open to catch a breeze, though it gets a bit noisy with the street traffic right outside. People coming from the main road find us easily enough because of the location. We handle all the heavy lifting ourselves, so you might see us moving cupboards around or shifting mattresses when you visit. It’s a lot of physical work keeping things even slightly tidy. We aren't big on fancy talk or sales pitches. If someone needs a simple chair, we just show them where the chairs are. Sometimes the delivery truck is stuck in traffic and we have to wait around for hours, but that’s just how it goes in this part of town. We’ve been at this Jade Arcade location for some time now and it feels like home to us. Most of our customers are locals who just want something sturdy for their flat. We try to be helpful without hovering too much while people are looking at the prices.
