Paridhi Sarees

You can find Paridhi Sarees right in the Charkaman area. It is a busy part of town and we have been part of it for a good while. We mostly sell sarees for everyday use and some for weddings too. The shop is not huge, but we pack a lot into the space we have. Every morning we start by folding the pieces that got messed up from the day before. It is a lot of work keeping all those fabrics neat. Customers come in and want to see ten different colors before they pick one, which is just how it goes. We do not mind. We have stools for people to sit on while they look. The lighting in here is not the best, but we try to show the colors as clearly as we can. Charkaman is always bustling with people and sometimes it gets hard to hear over the street noise. We do not really do fancy displays. We just pile the stock where we can find it. My sisters help out during the festival seasons because it gets way too busy for one person. We have known the other shopkeepers on this street for years. We eat lunch together when things are quiet. It is a simple life running a saree shop. We just hope people find something they like and come back when they need another one. There is not much more to it than that. We just stay open until the customers stop coming.
