Being near the Hyderabad GPO means there is always a lot of movement. Fatima Safinaz is just the name on the door, but it’s really about the people who walk in and out every day. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The building itself is a bit old and the paint is peeling in a few corners, but it has character. You know how it is in the city center, everything is crowded and fast. We try to keep things moving. Most days, it’s just us sitting here with the fans humming in the background. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months. We usually have a bottle of cold water ready for whoever stops by. It isn’t a corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a place where work happens. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out for a bit, but we just wait it out. That’s part of living and working in Hyderabad 500001. We don’t have a marketing department telling us what to say. We just write down what we need to do and get to it. Some people ask why we don't move to a newer area, but this is where we started. It feels right to stay put. Life is busy enough without trying to be something we aren't. We like the creaky stairs and the way the sun hits the front window in the evening. It’s a good enough spot for us.
