Fashion Wear

Being located right near the District Court means we see a lot of people in a hurry. Most of our customers are folks who work at the court or people who are there for legal stuff and realized they needed a better shirt or a tie for their appearance. The shop is small and the shelves are packed all the way to the ceiling. I have to use a small ladder to reach the stuff at the top. It gets very noisy outside with all the advocates and vendors shouting but once you step inside it is a bit quieter. We carry a mix of formal wear and some casual things too for the local guys. I usually stand behind the counter and help people find their size or match a color. The mirror in the corner is a bit cracked but it still works well enough for checking a fit. We do not have fancy mannequins in the window just a few hangers with our latest stock. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon and we have to use flashlights to show the fabric colors to customers. It is just a regular shop trying to make a living in a busy part of town. I take the bus here every morning and open up by nine. People like that we are close by and do not charge as much as the big malls. It is a simple life and I enjoy the bustle.
