Farmties Private Limited is based over in Adarsha Nagar, at 12-4-958. We aren't like those huge companies with hundreds of employees and shiny buildings. It’s just a small team of us working out of a regular house in the neighborhood. We started this because we saw how much trouble farmers were having connecting with the people who actually buy their food. We wanted to make those ties a bit stronger, hence the name. It’s been a learning curve for all of us. Some days we spend all our time on the phone, and other days we’re out visiting farms to see how the crops are doing. The office is usually a mess of papers and empty coffee cups, but we know where everything is. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to act like we’re more important than we are. We’re just trying to bridge the gap between the field and the table in a way that’s fair for everyone. Sometimes we get things wrong, and we have to start over, but that’s part of building something new. Adarsha Nagar is a quiet enough place to work, and we like being part of the community here. We don't have any grand speeches to give. We just show up every day and try to make things work a little better for the farmers we know. We hope it makes a difference to the people we work with.
