Exornate Designers & Architects

Down on R P Kovil Street, at number 2A, that’s where you’ll find Exornate Designers & Architects. It’s a quiet enough street most days, which is good for us because we need to concentrate on the technical drawings. We handle both the design side and the actual architecture. It’s a lot of responsibility making sure a building is safe and also looks the way someone imagined it. We’ve had all sorts of people come through our doors over the years. Some want a whole new house and others just want to fix up a kitchen or a shop front. We don't really have a specific style that we force on people. We just look at the space and try to figure out what makes the most sense for the budget they have. Sometimes we have to tell people their ideas won't work, which isn't always fun, but it's better to be honest about it early on. The office is usually filled with rolls of paper and different samples of wood or stone. We’ve been here long enough that most of the locals know who we are. We don't do much advertising. We just show up, do the work, and hope people are happy with the results. It's a simple way to run a business but it works for us and the clients we get. We take it one project at a time and try to stay sane through all the paperwork.
