Dwarakamai Beauty Parlour is tucked away in Kachiguda, Hyderabad. If you are looking for us, we are right behind the Kachiguda Railway Station. You can hear the trains sometimes if it’s quiet enough, but usually, the street noise covers it up. This part of Hyderabad 500027 is always moving, and we have been part of it for some time now. Our shop is a small beauty parlour, mostly for the local women who live in the narrow lanes around the station. We handle the usual stuff like eyebrows, waxing, and basic hair cuts. Nothing too complicated or high-end. It is a place where you can just come in, get what you need done, and go back to your chores or work. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the regulars by name. Sometimes we sit and talk about what’s happening in the neighborhood while working. It’s a very local feel. The station being so close means there are always new people passing by, but most of our visitors are from the nearby houses. We keep the place simple. There are no fancy lights or big signs, just a comfortable spot to sit for a bit while you get a facial or some henna done. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but the shop stays pretty much the same. It’s honest work and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces every week. We open up early and close once the last train commuters have headed home.
