Dwaraka Mens Salon

Dwaraka Mens Salon is down in Nimboliadda at D No 3-2-133. We are in the lane that’s exactly opposite the Sadanand Hotel. It’s a very busy street with plenty of people walking by and tea stalls nearby. The salon is small and simple. We have two barber chairs and some mirrors on the wall. I’ve been a barber here for a long time now. My father was also a barber, so it’s what I know. We handle haircuts and shaves for the men who live around here. Sundays are usually our busiest time because everyone wants to get ready for the work week. We keep some newspapers on the table for people to read while they wait. The ceiling fan is old and makes a bit of noise, but it keeps the air moving. We know most of our customers by their names. We talk about local news or the weather while I work. It’s a straightforward life. The noise from the street is always there, with autos and bikes passing by constantly. When we don’t have customers, we sometimes stand outside just to get some fresh air. We don’t have any fancy lights or big posters. It’s just a plain shop where we do our work every day. People come to us because they know what to expect and we’ve been here forever.
