Dulhas Mehendia Beauty Parlour

Living and working in Abids is always a bit of a rush. Our parlour is located on Chirag Ali Lane, which is one of those busy streets in Hyderabad where there is always something going on. We have been here for a while, and the shop has its own character. It’s not a polished, modern salon like you see in the malls. It’s a bit more traditional. We do a lot of mehendi work, which is why we have the name. You can usually smell the henna as soon as you walk through the door. We also do regular beauty stuff for women who are out shopping in the market and need a quick break. The chairs aren't the newest, and the walls have some marks on them from years of work, but it feels like a real place. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. Most people just find us because they are already in the area for shopping. It can get quite crowded on the weekends, especially when there’s a wedding coming up in the neighborhood. We just try to keep everyone happy and get the work done. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if a customer is stuck in traffic. It’s a small operation, mostly just a few of us working together. We like the busy atmosphere of 500001, even if the noise from the street never really stops.
