Dhannur Jawar Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of the New Housing Board Colony in Zone-1. Our specific spot is H.No. MIG-11, Quarter No. 92. We focus mostly on jawar because that is what grows around here and what we know best. It’s a group of us from the Dhannur area who thought having a company would make things a bit more organized. The housing board colony is a quiet enough place to have an office. We don’t have a lot of fancy equipment or a big storefront. Usually, you’ll just find a couple of us sitting there talking about the rain or the latest prices for grain. Jawar is a staple for us, and we spend a lot of time making sure everyone in the group is getting their seeds and supplies on time. It’s not always smooth sailing, and sometimes we argue about the best way to handle things, but we always figure it out. We aren't here to make a huge profit or anything like that. We just want to keep our farming traditions going and make sure the work pays off. It’s a very local thing, and we mostly deal with people we’ve known our whole lives. If you come by the quarter, you might see us loading bags or just checking the books. It’s a regular job for us and we just take it one day at a time.
