Deepak Furnitures

You can find Deepak Furnitures right across from the Kamat Hotel on Nampally Station Road. It is a busy area with a lot of people heading to the station, so there is always something going on outside our door. We have been making and selling furniture here for a long time. The shop is not huge, but we pack a lot into it. You will see chairs and tables stacked up because space is tight. We work with wood and other materials to make things people actually need for their homes. It is noisy with the saws going and the traffic outside, but we are used to it by now. People stop in while they are waiting for their trains or just passing through Nampally. We do not do much advertising, mostly it is just folks seeing the sign or hearing about us from a neighbor. Sometimes the wood smells really strong in the morning when we first open up the shutters. We try to keep things organized, but when we are busy, it gets a bit messy with sawdust and offcuts on the floor. That is just part of the job. We are not a big chain store with shiny floors and fancy lights. It is just a local furniture shop where we try to make things that last. If you need a stool or a cupboard, we probably have something that fits what you want. We just stick to what we know.
