Deccan Eco-Farms Llp is up on the 24th floor, Unit No 2405 to be exact. We are in Block G of My Home Bhooja Tower V. That’s over in Raidurg, Seri Lingampally in Hyderabad. It’s a big building, 500032 is the code. Being in a tower like this is different from being on a farm, but this is where we manage the eco-farming side of things. It’s a long way up and the view of Hyderabad is something else. We spend our days on computers and phones, talking to people out in the fields. The office is clean and modern, unlike the farms we work with. We aren't really corporate types, though, even if the building looks like it. Most of us have spent time on actual farms and know the struggle of growing things. We just use this space to keep the business side of Deccan Eco-Farms running. It’s a lot of logistics and planning. Raidurg is a busy tech area, so we are surrounded by IT companies, which feels a bit strange sometimes. We just focus on our eco-friendly goals and try to get things done. Some days the elevators take forever and the traffic in Seri Lingampally is a mess. We just take it in stride. It’s just a place to work and make sure the eco-farms are doing what they need to do. It’s a bit of a trek to get here, but it works.
