D Fatima

I’m D Fatima. My place is located in Hyderabad, specifically in the 500001 district. It’s a busy part of the city, and there is always something going on outside our door. I’ve been running things here for a while now. It’s not a huge operation, just a modest space where we do our daily work. I usually get in early to get a head start before the phone starts ringing or people start dropping by. We handle a variety of small tasks throughout the day. Nothing very fancy, just practical stuff. The staff is small, just a couple of us really. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of this neighborhood. Sometimes the traffic is so bad it takes forever just to get a block away, but that’s life here. We keep our files organized as best as we can, though things can get a bit messy when we’re in the middle of a big job. It’s a very human way of working. We talk to our neighbors, share some snacks, and keep the business going. We aren’t trying to change the world, just trying to make a living and be helpful to the people who come to see us. It’s a straightforward way to live. Some days are long, but at the end of it, we feel like we’ve done a decent day’s work. That’s enough for me. We just stay here, do what needs doing, and that is about it.
