We are located in Shanti Niketan Apartment, specifically in flat 5-8-341. The building is on Chiragali Lane, which is right behind Sujata School. During the day, you can hear the sounds of the school bells and the children playing outside. Our office isn't in a commercial building; it’s inside an apartment, so it feels more like a home than a workplace. We have several desks squeezed into the rooms and boxes of clothes stacked up against the walls. We handle a lot of garment work and samples for Cherma'S. It’s often quite messy with fabric swatches and measuring tapes lying around. The elevator in the building is pretty old and sometimes it doesn't work, so we have to carry boxes up and down the stairs. It’s a lot of exercise for us. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea for everyone in the afternoon. Most of the people working here have been with the company for many years. We know the neighbors in the other apartments and we try to keep the noise down. The lane outside is always full of people and small shops selling snacks. It’s a busy, lively area to be in. We don't have a big reception desk or a sign. You just have to find the right door in the hallway. It’s a simple way of working, but it has worked for us for a long time now.
