Skt Machines

Skt Machines is located over in Laxmi Narayana Nagar, specifically at 2-24-90/92 in the Ida Uppal area. If you know Uppal, you know it's a place where things get built. Our shop isn't hard to find if you're looking for it. We handle machinery and all the small parts that come with that. It’s often oily and there’s always a hum in the air from the power tools. We aren't a huge corporation with a glass building. It’s more of a family-run kind of atmosphere, even if we’ve grown a bit. We spend our days fixing things or putting parts together. Sometimes we lose track of time when we're deep into a project. The coffee here isn't great, but it keeps us going. Most of the guys have been here for years and they know the machines inside out. We don't bother with much advertising because word of mouth usually does the trick around here. People know where to find us when they need something fixed or made. The weather in Hyderabad can get pretty hot in the summer, making the workshop a bit stuffy, but we just keep the fans going and carry on. It’s a simple life, working with your hands and seeing something finished at the end of the day. We’re just glad to be a part of the local scene in Uppal. It gets noisy and messy, but that's just a normal Tuesday for us here.
