Carbon Farming India Private Limited has its office at H.No.6-3-664, in Flat No.101 of the B-Block at Prestige Rai Towers. We are right opposite Nims in Somajiguda, which is a very busy part of Hyderabad. The noise from the traffic outside is constant, especially with the ambulances and the people visiting the hospital. Inside the office, it’s a bit calmer. We work on farming ideas that are supposed to be better for the environment, specifically looking at how carbon fits into the whole picture. It sounds technical, but for us, it’s just about finding better ways to manage the land. We spend our days looking at data and talking to people who are interested in changing how they farm. Being in a big tower like Prestige Rai means we see a lot of other businesses coming and going, but we just stick to our corner. The elevator is usually slow in the mornings, so we’ve learned to be patient. We aren't fancy people; we just have an interest in making sure the soil stays healthy for the next generation. We have a lot of tea and coffee while we sit around the table discussing new projects. It’s a typical city office life, but with a focus on something that happens far away in the fields. We just try to bridge that gap from our little spot in Somajiguda.
