Benson Hair & Beauty Saloon

Benson Hair & Beauty Saloon is situated in the Barkatpura area of Hyderabad. We are right beside the Francis Xavier Degree College, so we get a lot of students coming in between their classes or after they are done for the day. Barkatpura is a lively neighborhood and we fit right in with the other small shops along the street. The saloon does both hair and basic beauty treatments. It isn’t a massive place, just a few stations where we work. We have a mix of regular older clients and the younger college crowd, which keeps things interesting. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when a group of friends all come in at once for haircuts. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a few chairs against the wall. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend most of our time actually working on hair. We keep the equipment clean and that's the main thing. It feels like a very normal part of the 500027 area. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place to get a decent haircut or your eyebrows done without spending a fortune. We know the local shopkeepers and the college staff quite well. It’s a decent place to work and spend the day. We usually close up once the students have all gone home for the evening.
