Basavaraja Naika

Basavaraja Naika is based on Raj Bhavan Road in Somajiguda. It is not a very fancy place, just a regular office at the Subhan Sirisampada Complex. We spend most of our days at the desk or dealing with people who come through the door. The fifth floor gives a decent view of the traffic below, but mostly we focus on what is happening inside the office. It gets busy around Somajiguda, especially during peak hours when everyone is trying to get somewhere else. We have stayed in this spot because it is easy for people to find us. It isn't a massive operation, just a few of us making sure things get done. Some days are slow, while others we can't seem to catch a break. We handle a lot of paperwork and phone calls. Usually, the morning starts with a quick tea from the stall nearby before we settle into the work. The address is quite a mouthful when you have to write it out on envelopes, but we have gotten used to it. No big signs or flashing lights here, just the name on the door and a list of things to finish by evening. We have seen the area change quite a bit over the years with buildings going up and old shops closing. But we are still right here in Plot No. 6-3-1090/A/1. If you know the landmark, it is pretty straightforward. We do the work and it keeps us occupied.
