Bamboo Food Factory

Bamboo Food Factory is over at 12, Sri Ramnagar in the Kondapur area. We started this place because we really enjoyed cooking and wanted to share the kind of food we like to eat. It is not a massive restaurant with waiters in uniforms. It is more of a kitchen-focused setup where we spend most of our time preparing ingredients and getting things ready for the day. You can usually hear the sound of chopping or things sizzling on the stove if you come by. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have several orders coming in at once, but we manage to keep things moving. We use a lot of bamboo shoots in our cooking, which is where the name came from. It is a flavor we really enjoy and it seems the people around Sri Ramnagar do too. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or billboards. Most of our customers are just people living nearby or workers who stop in for a quick bite during their lunch break. Sometimes the floor gets a little slippery or the menu on the wall has a few cross-outs, but that’s just life in a real kitchen. We are just a bunch of people who like food and work hard to make it every day. It’s a humble place and we are quite happy with how things are going right now in our corner of Kondapur.
