Balaji Styling Hair Saloon is over on Vijay Nagar Colony Road in the Bazarghat area. We are pretty easy to find if you know where the Glory Theatre is. We’ve been set up here in Hyderabad for a long time. The shop is on a busy road, so there is always something going on outside. We get a lot of people stopping in while they are out running errands. It’s a traditional saloon. We focus on haircuts and shaves for men. Most of our regular customers have been coming here since they were kids, and now they bring their own sons. It’s nice to see families grow like that. We don’t have air conditioning, just some good ceiling fans that keep the air moving. The chairs are old but they are comfortable enough for a twenty-minute haircut. We don't do anything complicated. If you want a standard cut, we can do it. If you want a clean shave, we can do that too. We try to keep our prices fair because we know everyone is working hard. Sometimes we have a bit of a wait on Sunday mornings, but usually, you can get in a chair pretty quick. It’s just a simple, no-nonsense place where you can get a haircut and hear some local gossip. We like it that way and our customers seem to as well.
