Our place, Archords Architects And Interior Designers, is at House No 9-4-133/2/7B in Jhansi Nagar Colony. This is in the Toli Chowki area of Hyderabad, 500008. The office is basically part of a house, so it doesn't feel like a corporate building at all. It’s a very grounded atmosphere. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. We just have our desks and a lot of drawings spread out everywhere. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s a bit quieter than the main road, but you can still hear the city around you. We don't use any marketing speak or polished language. We just talk to people plainly about what they need. Most of our visitors are people from the local area who have heard about us. We don't spend money on big signs or advertisements. The office is a bit lived-in, and we haven't changed the decor in years. We aren't interested in looking like a big firm. We just want to do our work without any extra drama. If you come by, we’ll probably just offer you some tea and talk. It’s a very informal way to run things, but it works for us here in Jhansi Nagar Colony. It is a good place to work every day and keep things simple.
