We are up on the fifth floor of Manzil Chambers. It’s right there on the Mehdipatnam Ring Road, so there is always noise from the traffic outside. Our office, Flat 502/A, is where we handle all the architectural work. It’s a simple space with drafting tables and a few computers. We’ve been in this part of Hyderabad for a good while. Santosh Nagar is a busy area, and being near the Ring Road makes it easy for us to visit sites across the city. We spend our days drawing up plans and checking on building codes. It’s mostly just us working through client requirements and trying to fit everything into the budget they have. We don't have a big reception or anything like that. Usually, there are rolls of paper everywhere and someone is on the phone with a contractor. We focus on the design side of things. It’s honest work, just figuring out how to make a building stand up and look decent at the same time. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up. The view from the fifth floor is okay, mostly just the busy road and other buildings. We’ve seen Mehdipatnam change quite a bit since we started here. It’s a practical office for practical design work. Nothing fancy, just the basics. We just try to get the drawings done accurately so the builders don't have issues later on at the site.
